Process
From brief to launch.
Every project follows the same five stages. You always know where the project is, what comes next and what you will receive.
Discovery
A first conversation about your brand, your customers, your market, the budget and the timeline.
You receiveA clear scope and a written proposal.
Brief
We write the creative and olfactive brief: the story, the olfactive family, references, target customer and price position.
You receiveA brief that perfumers and fragrance houses can work from.
Development
Perfumers submit trials. We evaluate each one on blotter and on skin, over time, and write precise feedback for every round of modifications.
You receiveEvaluation notes for each round, and a shortlist.
Validation
We choose the final fragrance with you and check it fits the product, the name, the packaging and the price.
You receiveA validated fragrance and its product story.
Launch
We prepare how customers will discover it: the story, the retail experience, the website and the launch event.
You receiveLaunch materials and a consistent customer journey.
How a fragrance unfolds
A fragrance is not one smell. It changes for hours.
Perfumers describe a fragrance in three layers. Your customer meets the top notes in the shop and lives with the base notes all day. We evaluate every stage, on blotter and on skin, before anything is approved.
The first minutes
The first impression, often fresh and bright. It is what a customer smells on the blotter in store.
Typical materialsCitrus, aromatic herbs, light fruits
From about 20 minutes to a few hours
The character of the fragrance. Once the top notes fade, the heart decides if the fragrance is loved.
Typical materialsFlowers, spices, green notes
Several hours, sometimes until the next day
What stays on the skin and on clothes. The base gives the fragrance its depth and its trail.
Typical materialsWoods, resins, musks, vanilla
Questions
How does a project start?
With a conversation. You tell us about your brand and your project, we ask questions, and we send a written proposal with the scope and the price.
How is a project priced?
Each project is quoted after the first conversation, once we understand its scope. It can be a single workshop, a defined mission or ongoing support.
Can I book only one stage?
Yes. Many clients start with a brief or an evaluation of existing trials, and continue later.
Can we meet at the studio?
Yes, by appointment, at 112 Avenue de Suffren in Paris 15e.
